I love getting to know my clients and keep them closely involved throughout the process. I want to ensure you’re happy with how the piece is coming together as it develops.

That’s why when you make a request, you’ll discuss:

• The overall idea or subject of the artwork
• The size and orientation that works for your space
• Colour direction, including samples or references
• The type of surface or materials (book pages, newsprint, etc.)
• The level of detail, from more abstract to more realistic

What Art Media Can You Choose for Customs?

As a multimedia artist, I can work across a range of art media, depending on the direction of the piece and what you’re looking for.

For example, I can use book pages to add texture and underlying detail, newsprint to bring in contrast and movement, or music sheets to tie the subject back to a specific theme or influence. When you submit a request, you can mention your preferred materials and go from there.

Can You Order an Art Portrait?

Yes, you can order a customized multimedia art portrait from Art by Jennifer Harris.

I’m open to anything from sports to idol portraits to more personal or conceptual pieces, and I can adapt the style and subject to what you have in mind. I’ll ask for at least one reference image and possibly any other relevant materials or details you’d like to share.

To start the art commissions process, there are just a few easy steps to go through before you receive a finished piece that’s ready for your space.

From start to finish, you:

• Reach out with your idea or request
• Go over the details and confirm the direction
• Approve the concept before work begins
• Receive updates as the artwork progresses and give your feedback
• Review the final result before completion
• Have the finished artwork shipped to your location

How Long Does a Custom Art Commission Take?

I do everything I can to get your finished piece to you as soon as possible, but I’ll never rush the process. There are a few factors that influence the timeframe.

The first is the size of the custom art commission. Though an increase in time isn’t always proportional to surface area, there’s generally more time needed for larger pieces. Another important factor is detailing. If your piece involves more detailed work or a more realistic style, it may take additional time to complete.
